So I'm leaving in a few hours, here's a photo of everything I'm taking pretty much. When I arrive in Nepal I'm hoping to make it to Thamel in Kathmandu where I'll find a room somewhere and get my self some jackets as I only have a t-shirt and thermal at the moment.
Yesterday I managed at sneaky day trip to Kaituna river outside of Rotorua just to remind me how to paddle, river was high (1.3 on the gauge or 1300) and managed to tweak my shoulder so I was a little bit scared to paddle down the rest so I just ran the slalom course a couple times and was happy as can be when you haven't paddle the kaituna in over two years.
